Design. Build. Enjoy

AKT is a St. Louis based design studio, specializing in custom furniture and architectural precast concrete.

Custom Concrete Table Tops

Inspired by our concrete counter tops, we’ve started to use concrete more and more for custom furniture! We can create any size table top, from end tables, coffee tables to large dining tables. A variety of shapes can be achieved, as well as colors. We can also create a stencil of your logo and sand blast it onto the surface, revealing text or your company logo!

Custom Furniture

At AKT, aesthetics are important! Using reclaimed wood, steel, and other materials, we really enjoy making custom pieces of furniture for your home. In most cases, we document where the materials were salvaged and do our best to accurately date the materials used, making each work a unique conversation piece!

Pre-Cast Concrete

We design, build and pour custom molds for precast concrete, from tree grates that you see on the sidewalks throughout the city of Clayton, to large Fleur de Lis planters seen throughout Soulard, Lafeyette Square, and the City of Normandy. Show us your ideas and we will do our best to bring them to life!

Custom Art Installation

Sometimes art is heavy and awkward, we enjoy the challenge of installing your art safely and securely. From custom french cleats to reclaimed wood walls, we are ready to serve your installation needs.

"Tony and the guys at AKT Studio STL built us a beautiful conference room table. They were on time and on budget and the table itself is gorgeous. We were able to get exactly what we needed for the space we have, something that wouldn't have been possible at the most furniture stores. I would definitely order more custom furniture from AKT Studio STL."
